A special treat for you and your friends
Did you know that afternoon tea was introduced in England by Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, in the year 1840? It was once common for there to be only 2 meals in the day - breakfast and an evening meal at 8pm. Because of the long gap the Duchess often became hungry around 4pm. The Duchess requested a tray of tea, bread and butter and cake be brought to her room during the late afternoon, which soon became a habit that she invited her friends to join.
This pause for tea became a fashionable social event. During the 1880’s upper-class and society women would change into long gowns, gloves and hats for their afternoon tea which was usually served in the drawing room between four and five o’clock.
Lut’s Afternoon Tea is suitable for any occasion (no long gowns necessary)
Served in either the beautiful, yet relaxing farm house kitchen or the garden (weather permitting). Lut’s Afternoon Tea is also available with ‘Free From’ and Vegan (friendly) options.
When you have finished enjoying the delicious food and company, you can take a stroll through Lut’s Garden to pause a little and relax further.

What’s included:
Lut’s afternoon tea comes with an abundance of homemade scones, seasonal cakes, open rolls (with two different toppings), a seasonal quiche with garnish and some Belgian goodies, served with tea or coffee of your choice.

You can come alone, with friends or family the choice is yours.
I need to have a minimum of 5 people booked for this event to go ahead but single booking are an option. There is a maximum of 8 spaces available. Please book at least two days ahead of time.
