Ana is back in Lut’s kitchen with another wonderful baking workshop.
In this workshop we bake a beautiful and delicious red velvet cake and some fun lollipops. Whether it's for yourself, a friend or loved ones...it will be a scrummy treat for sure.
The original versions of red velvet cake were a chocolate cakes that used chemistry to give cakes a brown-red hue and had no other colouring added.
The true origin of the Red Velvet Cake is a mystery. The earliest story or documentation involving this decadent chocolate cake was believed to be around 1959, when a woman dining at the elegant Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City was served the dessert. She was so pleased with this early Red Velvet Cake that she asked for the recipe.
You will go home with your beautiful Red Velvet Cakes in a box provided by Lut’s Place. You may want to share them with others or simply enjoy them yourself.
