Seed Swop Sharing Circle at Lut’s Place
Autumn, the flowers in my garden have shown their best, and the leaves are transforming and shedding.
I always find it a bit sad to see the garden becomes ‘bare’. But then, I’m already starting the counting down when I will once again see the hellebores, snowdrops etc...and so I start discussing and planning the changes for the next year to come.
I’m not a gardener myself but I am so grateful to have Dan, our gardener who does the hard work for me and I just have to enjoy!
I love to see what is there year after year arrive and I’m also very curious about the surprises Dan, has in store…what has he seeded and planted?
It not only means I have new flowers in the garden to enjoy, but also to bring in the house and make beautiful arrangements instead of just buying them.
A seed exchange is a great way to get free or low cost seed. It is also a way to get seed that you can’t buy anywhere else.
We therefore invite you to Lut’s Seed Share.
Bring some seeds of the lovely things you had in your garden to swap with some beauties somebody else really enjoyed.
Plant them in your garden and you not only have the bonus of a beautiful need plant/flower you will also remember the person who you’ve swapped with or who gave it you.
Lut’s Places’s Gardener will be on hand for advice
Dan will be here with his knowledge and advice to help you to make our seed swop a success.
You will also have the opportunity to speak to other people about their gardening experience which will vary from lots to none!
